In Search of the Big Reds

Whether it's Napa or Sonoma, Soussan is always in search of the biggest and best Cabernet Sauvignons. We'll take you to some wineries that you have probably heard of and/or some that you may have not. Either way, if you are a big red lover, you are guaranteed to have a great time.

Dry Creek Valley Tour

Known for its incredible 'terroir', this appellation's 80,000 acre history is all about fruit orchards. Prunes, cherries, plums and apples manifest their flavors into some of the best wines in the world.

Small production wineries. It's wine that is difficult, if not impossible to find anywhere else. Some productions are as little as 150 cases per year. Talk to the winemakers, taste the fruits of their labor and experience firsthand their passion for winemaking.

Russian River Valley Tour

Nestled in the beautiful California redwoods near the Pacific Coast, this appellation is famous for its warm days and cool foggy nights. Here you will find the best Pinot Noirs that the California wine country has to offer. It is also a great region to find Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Viognier.

Historical Wineries Tour

Learn about grape growing and winemaking in its earliest stages. We will visit some of the oldest wineries in Sonoma or Napa. Trace the steps from the first Mission vineyard plantings of General Vallejo in 1823 to the beauty and splendor of "the Pompeiian villa on the knoll" built by Count Agoston Haraszthy.

Become a VIP at your favorite winery and taste their unique library and reserve wines. On our Exclusive Winemaker Tour we'll make all the arrangements.  Taste only wines rated by the wine press to be the most outstanding wines Northern California has to offer.

Just to the North of the Dry Creek Valley is Alexander Valley, a lovely expanse of beautiful vineyards with old and new wineries. Discover why the micro-climates produce a lovely variety of whites and reds.
